Amenhotep IV
(Akhenaten) was the second son of Amenhotep III and his wife, Tiy Chief. It's
unclear if Amenhotep IV the throne with his older brother so-called, Thutmose
III, which is supposed to died young because of the controversial shared. It
wasn't long before the new name, Akhenaten, Amenhotep IV meaning "Servant
Announces of the Aton" probably means in the fifth year of his reign.
As his mother,
Tiy, wife of Akhenaton, Nefertiti was not of Royal blood, she was just a girl
from the vizier, Ay, probably after the death of his grandson, Tutankhamun
reigned. Amenhotep IV had at least four girls, Mekytaten, Merytaten,
Merytaten-tasheri and Akhesenpaaten; but he also had one of the biggest names
in ancient history, Tutankhamun.

Akhenaton, prefer
to be called then, because he took the time and effort for the release of a new
religion. He built a new city, Akhenaton and
rededicated only God Aton and is believed by some Egyptologists that he the
power of his army to drive people to this new
city, its popularity on the dubious moment.
