When we were at school, we taught things about our planet and the universe that were at that time knowledge. Judging by the current sciences and technologies, new conclusions are being drawn in these things almost every day.
We recently discovered that the ninth planet in our solar system, Pluto, is no longer considered a planet.
Information like this can be extracted from the Discovery Channel, the scientific channel, and PBS stations. They have different shows all the time, not only our own planet but others.
Many of them concern such things as our volcanoes, climate, global warming and all that can be catastrophic for the human race and the Earth. You can see how these programs use a satellite or cable.
The latest and current programs that you can monitor on these channels are on the planet Mars. Many of us are fascinated by Mars, because this is the closest planet to us, and the possibility that one day it could be some form of life is very intriguing, to say the least.
Some scientists believe there may still be life on Mars in uniform or micro-organisms. Some people think that Mars can also have frozen water.
From the unexpected images sent back to Earth by the probes that were sent to Mars, including seafarers, who were sent to use satellite images during 1960 and later Viking 1 and 2, which in fact Landed on Mars and sent the image back for the first time we were able to see the surface of the planet close and personal.
The last "Off Mars" study, the global Mars Survey, transmitted images four times as much as expected before closing in 2006.
Although Mars is one of the most interesting topics discussed in these documentary films about space and our planet, there are concerts that touch distant planets, asteroids, comets, black holes, dying stars, and the entire universe. The recent conclusions of our universe are surprising and seemingly endless.
The television programming available to us today through satellites and cables is a dream of the love of science. You can look at something new, informative and interesting every day and see more tomorrow. It's like having the latest results from the space probe and the daily scientific research available in our own living room.
